It's solid wood, beautiful Louisiana Rice pattern 4-poster. Headboard, footboard, and sides are present. The center board and the decorative knobs are NOT present. So this could be a beautiful fixer-upper, or you can jury rig it with parts from a standard king frame--parts which I would be happy to throw in for free. To make the most of this piece I would suggest a refinishing for the surface scratches and finding a replacement for the center board. With some TLC you can have a 4-post wood frame king size that you might see on ebay or antiques stores for $1500+! (google rice bed)I'm only getting rid of it because I need the money and was forced to switch to a different mattress after a spinal injury.To clarify
